On 27 September, the Empowering Consumers Directive starts to apply. "Sustainable", "eco-friendly", "carbon neutral" stop being safe defaults. Carbon offsetting can no longer support a neutrality claim. Not based in the EU? It still reaches you if you market to EU consumers and everywhere else is moving in the same direction. There's no transition period. The copy you signed off in August is live under different rules in October. Most of the guidance covers what's no longer allowed.
